What is Die Casting?

Die casting is a forming process in which liquid metal or alloys are injected at high pressures (150 to 1200 bar) and high injecting speeds (up to 500 km/h) into a permanent mold called a die.
The mold is made of high-strength steel and is designed according to the product or part specifications. After Solidification, the product is released, and the process is repeated for large-scale production of identical parts or products. We have been in the die-casting field for over a decade, serving hundreds of business and individual clients.

FAQ’s

What are the main steps involved in die casting?

There are six steps; Mold creation, Preheating & lubrication of mold, Melting of material, Injection into a mold, Solidification, product release from the mold, and finally, surface finishing.

Which is the best, Zinc or Aluminum die-casting?

It depends on the applications of the products and the required physical and mechanical properties. Identifying the best material is difficult because each metal alloy has its characteristics. So, let our experts choose the best material for die casting based on your needs.

What is the main advantage of die casting?

Die casting allows for creating complex geometries (such as engine blocks) with a high degree of dimensional accuracy.

Does Die casting prevent rusting?

It depends on the content of iron in the alloys. The product from Zinc and Aluminum die-casting does not rust until it gets exposed to harsh environmental conditions for a long time.

Why is ProleanHub best for die-casting services?
